3.0 Timeline
- Spring 2010: pilot use (limited field trial) of 2.10 in physics and history of physics courses at Michigan State University
- February 15, 2010: tag version 2.10 in our code repository, the last classic LON-CAPA interface (already introducing some of the visual elements of 3.0)
- April 15, 2010: release of version 2.9, classic interface and classic looks
- Fall 2010: start of implementation of new 3.0 interface elements
- Fall 2010: release of 2.9.1 (update to 2.9)
- Spring 2011: release of version 2.10
- Fall 2011: assessment of new interface by faculty focus group
- Spring 2012: testing and debugging of 3.0
- May 2012: release of version 3.0
