3.0 Timeline

  • Spring 2010: pilot use (limited field trial) of 2.10 in physics and history of physics courses at Michigan State University
  • April 15, 2010: release of version 2.9, classic interface and classic looks
  • Fall 2010: start of implementation of new 3.0 interface elements
  • Fall 2010: release of 2.9.1 (update to 2.9)
  • Spring 2012: release of version 2.11
  • Spring 2012: assessment of new interface by faculty focus group
  • Fall 2012: testing and debugging of 3.0
  • Spring 2013: release of version 3.0
