Multilingual Resources

LON-CAPA resources (text pages, homework problems, ...) can have multiple languages embedded into them. According to the course preferences, when the resources is rendered server-side, different sections are rendered. This is another example of one-source/multiple target rendering.

The following is an example of the beginning of a multilingual resource. NOTE: this is a technology demo only, the translations have not been generated by a human.

The file references a style file, which defines the language tags and the headers.

The rendering depends on the course preferences. If no language is set for the course, the English text is rendered. Otherwise, different languages are shown.
